Process Innovation Team

We guide, advise, and stand with you through training and hands on opportunities to transform the way we work according to your wants and needs.
LSIT Departmental Web Hosting
LSIT provides a no-cost to department, Drupal-based service using a uniform set of website features (Directory, News, etc.). Website content is maintained without needing any specialized web development or HTML expertise, allowing groups to focus on content.
Systems & Networking
The LSIT Systems group provides support for server architectures, networking infrastructure, and software development.
Server administration and support. Management includes engineering and maintaining data integrity and communication solutions
Software Engineering & Development
Programming support for the creation and maintenance of internal tools and outward facing services.
Connect Email Service
All LSIT Email accounts have moved to Connect - UCSB’s email and calendaring service powered by Google’s G Suite for Education. G Suite for Education is a collection of cloud computing productivity and collaboration software from Google. It includes Google's popular web applications such as Google email, Calendar, Drive, Hangouts, Docs and Sheets. G Suite provides a complete package of communication and collaboration tools in the cloud that will allow you to get the information you need, whenever you need it, on any device.
Instructional Use of Computing (IUC) & Technology Planning
LSIT provides consultation services to assist departments in their technology planning process. In the past we have participated in departmental tech committee meetings, researched technology options to solve department goals, identified costs associated with specific requests, and consulted with departments in a variety of ways.
